Back Pain Chiropractic Fixed My Chronic Pain

I had been diagnosed with everything you could think of including Fibromyalgia, and I’d been on anti-depressants for 15 or so years, prescription drugs like Viacodin and Morphine taking it several times a day,?I’d tried every type of therapy I could find when the back pain first starting becoming a problem.
For that past 8 or so years, I had given up trying to find anything that would help, and just resigned myself to taking morphine and Vicodin?for the rest of my life. The number of painkillers I was taking in the month before seeing was outrageous I couldn’t get out of bed until painkillers started to work, I’d take them 3 hourly during the day, and always had to take more to sleep with, I’d always have painkillers beside the bed to take during the night.
I was told continuously that the weight I was carrying was the reason for the pain, and if I walked more and lost weight, I would not have a problem with chronic back pain. I found that walking seemed to aggravate the back pain, and was told I was just lazy. Recently I visited a chiropractor who diagnosed the reason for my lower back pain in the first visit, and within 4 visits over 2 weeks the pain was gone. It’s been about 4 months now and the pain hasn’t yet returned.
The reason for the lower back pain was one of my legs ways 3/4 of an inch shorter than the other. So walking was doing me more harm than good. Adjustments to my hips had my legs the same length in a few minutes. I went from taking 20 plus prescription painkillers a day down to none within two weeks.
Yes that caused some problems of its own, my body was accustomed to that many painkillers… ok I was dependent or addicted, whatever way you want to say it, and my body didn’t like not having painkillers in my system. I had to take 1 painkiller, a day just to relieve the withdrawal symptoms, then a half, now about 14 weeks after first seeing the chiropractor, I haven’t taken Vicodin or morphine, or any other prescription painkillers, at all for almost 3 months.

Ye gads, there you are in the mirror again. Most of us find something we see in the mirror to our disliking so we make some adjustments such as sucking in our gut or standing a little straighter, and then go on our way. The next time we see a mirror, horrors, we see the same things we didn’t like before, back again and we make the same adjustments we made before.
Hold Your Head High
The truth is we all have habits of posture we do unconsciously and some we do on purpose and we think they help us look or feel better. Some of these habits we do because we trained ourselves to do them, even if we can’t remember why, and other ones that we think we are doing the way we want until we see ourselves in the mirror.
Each of these habits of posture and body mechanics, when done improperly, can add up to muscle twinges, backaches, and/or shoulder pain. Sometimes it can cause more than a twinging pain, it can lead to debilitating pain, pain that doctors are mystified at and pinpointing their cause is a mystery let alone finding a cure to the problem.
For instance, slouching can compress the lower vertebrae and bring on lower back pain or constantly working with a computer monitor at the wrong level can cause neck pain and headache. We may want to correct these problems with our body mechanics and posture but trying to do it by yourself without an objective observer often simply replaces one set of bad body mechanics and posture with another set of bad body mechanics and posture. Is some cases this can even make your pain worse.

You could take a mirror and try to evaluate yourself and make changes and you might actually do some good, but in the long run you will not get nearly as far as you will with lessons taught by trained professionals.
Bad Habits Die Hard
Even the most damaging habits we have can’t be stopped until we recognise them for what they are and in order to do that we need an objective view of ourselves such as a teacher, a mirror, or a video camera. When we see ourselves from a perspective outside of our own bodies we can begin to learn to move and hold our bodies in ways that will have amazing benefits in relieving back, neck, and/or shoulder pain.
Where Did It Start
But why would we develop these bad body mechanics and posture in the first place? There are many reasons we have developed these bad habits. Maybe we felt self conscious as a teenager and we slouched, or perhaps we crouched over a keyboard to work on our computers and never gave thought to adjusting it properly to fit our body needs. The most important thing now is to identify these problems and eliminate them.
If we begin a process of repeating new habits we will eventually replace the old bad habits of posture and body mechanics and find our selves with little to no pain in our backs, necks and shoulders.
Why You Don't Have to Suffer From Left Side Lower Back Pain Anymore!

Lower back pain in the left side has been a real problem for a lot of people for many years. I too was a back pain sufferer and I really didn’t know what to do. It was as if I couldn’t live a normal life and I really did think I would have to suffer for the rest of my life. However, I have recently found a cure to my pain and although it took a few months to really work properly, I feel better than ever.
Most people will assume that lower back pain on the left side is some form of injury. However, this isn’t always the case - it can be to do with a lot of things. I was unfortunately, the main cause of my problems. My posture was all off and I didn’t realise - luckily, with a few tips and tricks, I’ve managed to correct my posture and now I feel better than I ever have.
Having said that, not everyone’s problems will be related to posture and this is why a lot of back pain products on today’s market fail. They seem to assume that they already know what your problem is and they assume they can fix it instantly. I’d tried many products and god knows how many creams and rubs. I did however, find one that promised to cure all and I was very surprised when it did.
What I liked about the program I chose was that it was realistic and reasonable. It also didn’t seem to assume anything - aside from being able to cure my pain. The company I decided to deal with offered a great range of products and I feel like I’ve started my life over again.
They didn’t over do it when it came to selling to me either which I thought was nice. The main thing that pleased me was that they said their system would work for almost any kind of back problems. Left side lower back pain was my main problem and they managed to cure me - I can’t speak for anyone else (except my friend Anna who also used the program to cure her headaches!)
What I will say is that I really thought I was going to be suffering from back pain for the rest of my life.
