Try an Exercise Ball Chair to Ease Your Back Pain
Posted by admin in Prescription Pain Killers on June 14th, 2010
Do you spend several hours each day sat at a desk whether at home or in an office at a desk. Are you finding that you regularly suffer from back problems because of this? Then you may actually be sitting in a position that causes your posture to be wrong. There is now an effective way of correcting this problem and that is through the use of an exercise ball chair.
Through the use of such equipment in the office one can not only flex the bodies core muscles but also strengthens them. Also you may be surprised to find that over the course of time that this is actually going to help you lose weight as well.
However when it comes to purchasing this piece of equipment it is important that you get one that conforms exactly to your body proportions and size. So it is advisable if you can to try several different types out to see which one meets your particular requirements the best. As you sit on each one check to see that your thighs are sloping downwards slightly and that they are not perpendicular to the ball.
The lower your thighs are sloping then this will help to ease the strain being placed on your lower back. So in turn help to release pressure that is placed on one’s spine when sat down. If you find yourself leaning forward then the ball you have chosen for yourself is too tall.
Initially it is a good idea to use your exercise ball chair for just one hour at day especially if you find it uncomfortable to sit on in the beginning. Then gradually increase the amount of time you sit on yours until you can do so for the whole time that you are working.
