Lower Back Pain Relief
Posted by admin in Prescription Pain Killers on May 18th, 2010
Now you can get lower back pain relief simply by doing a couple of easy to do exercises. I first noticing my lower back pain when I was on a bowling team. I’d been bowling semi pro for a number of years and was trying to decide if I wanted to make a full time career out of it. But then, at one match it felt like I pulled a muscle or something in my lumbar area.
I went to this guy who practiced a method developed by a former marine who got shot up pretty badly. This marine formulated his own pain relief method based on his study of anatomy. His name is Pete Egoscue and he has a number of very popular books out on his method. You can probably find him if you type his name in one of the popular search engines.
The exercise that worked for me the best is an exercise called “static back”. I’m going to do my best to describe it to you now so that you can be pain free as well. It’s simple and effective, so simple in fact it might seem to easy for it to be effective. But it works by re-aligning your skeleton so that the muscles can heal.
Lie on your back with your knees bent and the backs of your thighs resting on a chair or hassock. You want your shins to be more or less parallel to the floor. Just relax your arms by your sides with the palms facing up.
That’s it. Just lie there relaxed for 10-15 minutes, longer for more relief.
