A Herbal Sciatica Remedy That Actually Works
Posted by admin in Prescription Pain Killers on July 16th, 2009
Experiencing a profound compassion for another in dreadful pain is a normal reaction. However, knowing that the individual suffering from a curable adversity, such as sciatica, may prove your sympathetic posturing as being nothing more than unwarranted.
A physician may either suggest exercise, physical therapy or even surgery to alleviate the sciatica discomfort, but all too often these methods will not serve any benefit, whatsoever. As well, an expensive surgery can cause extensive and irreparable damage, leaving the patient with an unsightly scar and without any guarantee of success. So quite understandably, a natural, organic alternative is the only viable solution.
The individual impaired by sciatica should realize that the pain is a results of irritation, inflammation or compression stemming from the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve, which is the longest nerve in the human body, originates in the back of the pelvis and travels through the superficial gluteus maximus muscle and subsequently proceeds downward through the biceps femoris, calf muscles and ends in the toes.
The intensity of sciatica pain can vary from mild to extremely agonizing, and any number of factors can be responsible for the debilitating disorder. In a variety of instances, there is not an obvious cause for the pain, at all. However, one must be mindful that a simple annoyance may very well escalate into a harrowing experience resulting in a tingling sensation, numbness and a torturesome ache. Although many health care experts attribute the problem to any combination of bone, joint or muscle strains, a herniated disc may also be the cause of the treatable annoyance. Nonetheless, anything that may either agitate or compress the nerve to the point of immobility renders the sufferer incapable of even attempting just a few steps at any one time.
For many, a trip to the doctor’s office just is not an option anymore. While the cost of health care skyrockets into the ionosphere, and with nearly sixty million Americans barely functioning through life without a health insurance plan, the only feasible alternative to a host of health concerns is, indeed, for a health conscious individual to revert back to nature.
After evolving on this planet for billions of years, nature has proven itself as being a faster healer, a less expensive option, and a smart choice that is much more safer.
Nature has always been here to help. Take advantage of what it has to offer. Accept no substitutes.
