Sleeping on a traditional spring mattress creates body pressure points that become the source of discomfort, causing tossing and turning, not to mention an achy back or joint pain. I had heard about Memory foam mattresses for years and just thought they were a gimmick, well after 8 years sleeping on one I will not be without one.

What is Memory foam you ask? Well, it has a gel-like feel that is temperature sensitive to soften the mattress with the warmth of your own body. Originally it was designed for NASA for the space program and to be used in space missions and in equipment. What the foam does is cradle your body. It adjusts to distribute your body weight evenly and will reduce fatigue on your bodies pressure points that will cause tossing and turning during the night.

I used to wake myself up, several times a night before buying one. The other great thing that why wife and I love is the fact that when your partner moves abruptly in bed you are not jarred out of a nice sleep. The reduction in movement is one it’s best features. The mattress recognizes your body shape and pressure points and the material adjusts to distribute your body weight evenly. This beautiful invention should be in every home.

My wife and I have slept in the finest hotels all over the world and we still have yet to find a bed as comfortable as the one we have at home. The closest we have came are the beds at the Four Seasons, but you know what we would buy one and put a memory foam topper on it! In the cold when you fist lay down it is comfy with a little give but as your body heats the memory foam up, It then softens and conforms to your body.
